I started going to aerobics again, well, wed and monday so far, anyway.
Work stayed at its "slowed down" status, about 20 hours this week.
Still no responses from the work the job coach people have been putting in for Nathan, but he did meet with a new job coach, Jessie.
Nathan finished reading Fields of Home, a Rachel Ann Nunes book I read before and it was such a good story I asked Nathan to read it, which he did. He also returned my other library books, too. I thought I had lost a library book, and he helped me look for and find that, too.
Successfully wrote the missionaries for the second week in a row, although, I only finished them, mid week. It makes me really regret not having written my older brothers and sister when they served their missions. I do love letter writing, although I was rereading the letters today, and they are horrible examples of letters. I look forward to polishing this (regrettably almost defunct) skill.
I am also going to use this post to finish updating to current so the last post doesn't get too big.
Highlights of 2011 so far:
Nathan took the initiative and got very specific with Vocational Rehabilitation about what he wanted, and they set him up with Northwestern, a Job Coaching company who says they work with people with disabilities. His job coaches were Nicole and Dustin. Nathan had meetings with them about what he wanted and they got his resume prepared and said they would start looking for jobs. He did have one potential interview to attend, but he bypassed it due to its very small amount of hours it offered.
I started working out and lost 20 pounds by the beginning of April. April was a dud, but see about about how I've started again (crossing fingers).
I cut my hair in April as well. I took 20 inches off and mailed and donated it to Locks of Love. Ok, the Paul Mitchell Hair School did the cutting, but I did the rest. I like my shorter (way shorter) hair.
End update
