I started going to aerobics again, well, wed and monday so far, anyway.
Work stayed at its "slowed down" status, about 20 hours this week.
Still no responses from the work the job coach people have been putting in for Nathan, but he did meet with a new job coach, Jessie.
Nathan finished reading Fields of Home, a Rachel Ann Nunes book I read before and it was such a good story I asked Nathan to read it, which he did. He also returned my other library books, too. I thought I had lost a library book, and he helped me look for and find that, too.
Successfully wrote the missionaries for the second week in a row, although, I only finished them, mid week. It makes me really regret not having written my older brothers and sister when they served their missions. I do love letter writing, although I was rereading the letters today, and they are horrible examples of letters. I look forward to polishing this (regrettably almost defunct) skill.
I am also going to use this post to finish updating to current so the last post doesn't get too big.
Highlights of 2011 so far:
Nathan took the initiative and got very specific with Vocational Rehabilitation about what he wanted, and they set him up with Northwestern, a Job Coaching company who says they work with people with disabilities. His job coaches were Nicole and Dustin. Nathan had meetings with them about what he wanted and they got his resume prepared and said they would start looking for jobs. He did have one potential interview to attend, but he bypassed it due to its very small amount of hours it offered.
I started working out and lost 20 pounds by the beginning of April. April was a dud, but see about about how I've started again (crossing fingers).
I cut my hair in April as well. I took 20 inches off and mailed and donated it to Locks of Love. Ok, the Paul Mitchell Hair School did the cutting, but I did the rest. I like my shorter (way shorter) hair.

So I like this blog address better, since it better describes what this is than my other one. this system is time sensitive, so I'll be better at posting to it from now on, even if it's just a line just to have the appropriate dates. Here is our 2010 Newsletter, which should have gone out in January
Nathan P. Lewis Family Newsletter 2010-the Late Edition
I don't feel like giving a month to month account of our activities, so "let me sum up....no, there is not time...." (Princess Bride is the movie the quote is from, just as a heads up)
I worked at the same job, and Nathan started a service mission at the Distribution Center in Orem. Nothing else really changed, except for my cooking and housekeeping skills, which are improved, although I feel there is much to work on still. Nathan is the best husband in the world, giving me sweet foot and shoulder and arm massages just about whenever I need them.
Most of our time together is spent with Nathan spewing out quotes to just about any situation. I was complaining about how I felt frustrated at some situation and he quoted "Bonkers", which was a cartoon show about a cat. "I'm doomed" "Think positively Bonkers" "ok, I'm positive we're doomed." He always brings in some humorous comment which calms me down, and keeps our lives pretty ok.
Nathan spends lots of time working on music theory exercises or composing various classical and contemporary music pieces. We both really like making lists, so we also fought over control of the computer to work on various organization lists, like address books and financial workbooks for me, and Billy Joel songlists and biological classification for Nathan. Both of us realized how much we loved our lists when our computer went on the fritz for a little while, but eventually our computer worked again, and we have continued in list-making bliss.
We have felt that we have grown closer together as a couple and as a family. We look forward to another year with ourselves and with family. We will currently be looking for a condo to invest in, but otherwise plan on staying at our apartment, as we continue arranging it to make it even more of our home. We look forward to many good times with family and friends and hope all have good health and experiences. We urge all to grow closer to a Heavenly Father who loves all of us, and sent His Son to pay the price of our sins so we could return to our Heavenly Father. We hope all feel the redeeming love of the Savior's exemplary life and sacrifice for all of Heavenly Father's children and look forward, continuing in faith-filled goals and hopes. So, belated as it is, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year.
